Under the leadership of teachers MaryBeth Benedetto and Nelda O'Neill, the faculty and staff of the Madeline English School collected an impressive array of toys for the organization Portal to Hope. The effort generated an eclectic range of toys and games for elementary- and middle school-aged children. The donation was arranged in an artistic display in the school lobby on Thursday, December 12 before they were collected by representatives from Portal to Hope, a non-profit organization committed to helping victims of domestic violence that serves the communities of Everett, Lynn, Malden, Medford, and Winthrop.
